The Best of Youth, Grand Prize Cannes Film Festival & Mother Courage, Madre Corraggio, Milano

The adrenaline rush one gets when watching this makes you think you do not need anything else to satisfy you. It is "a grand look at almost of half century of epic Italian life told through the lives and loves of two brothers like a page-turning novel that you want never to end." Feb 17-23 Oak Street Cinema mnfilmarts.org Part 1 (3 1/2 hours) shown 7:30PM Fri,Sun,Tues,Th 3:30PM Sat Part II 7:30PM Sat, Mon, Wed 3:30PM Sunday 2/23/2006

Madre Corraggio by Bertolt Brecht is finishing 2/26/2006 at Piccolo Teatro di Milano in Milano, starring my favorite actor Francesco Cordella, who plays many parts, one of which is a Lt. I love your glasses, but you look like a high maintenance LA man. Above is a scene from
Francesco's going away party with the cast of Arlecchino, Servant to Two Masters, performed
at Pantages Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. My Italian language skills are limited BUT I did understand something to this effect, "Now that Francesco is leaving the USA, the National League of Women will find that the streets will be much safer," said by Giorgio Bongiovanni, I think. Everybody agreed and lifted their glasses.
